2009 1% Well-Read Challenge
I’ve really been looking forward to this challenge. There are a number of books from the list that I’m dying to read!
Goal: Read 10 books during 2009.

The National Book Award Project Challenge
This is a well known collection of notable authors. I’m really looking forward to beginning the challenge.
Goal: Read the winners and finalists of the National Book Award for fiction.

- 1953 Finalist – The Old Man and the Sea: Ernest Hemingway

Read the Nobels Challenge
This sounds really interesting and I’m eager to jump in.
Goal: Read 105 books from the authors awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Operation Actually Read the Bible Challenge
Alright, I’ve been dragging my feet long enough. I have allocated time for everything else but neglecting God is not an option. I’m opting to use the NASB Inductive Study Bible as my main source along with additional resources found in Logos software, Precept Upon Precept books, and audio recordings.
Goal: Read 66 books of the bible including the Septuagint and selected New Testament Apocrypha within three years.

This is a great challenge. The opportunities for discovery are limitless. I’m really looking forward to it.

I have always wanted to read a series of award winning books. This challenge provides the opportunity for me to do so.
